6th Grade Field Trip
Our 6th graders had a wonderful experience downtown Indy on Thursday to see a live production of Charles Dickens' classic, "A Christmas Carol" at the Indiana Repertory Theater! One group of students even bumped into Kevin Gregory from WRTV Channel 6!
Thank you to all of the 6th grade teachers for planning this trip and thank you to all of the great parent chaperones!
Upcoming Bell Schedule Changes
CMS will follow the high school end-of-semester "Final Exam Schedule" in order to best accommodate all of the students and staff who have shared responsibilities in both buildings again this semester. As a result, please note the change in bells and student schedules for Thursday, December 21st and Friday, December 22nd.
The preliminary rounds of the National Geographic Geography Bee will be held here at CMS during social studies classes on 12/21 and 12/22. In early January each classroom champion will compete for their grade level championship. Shortly after that our grade level champions will go head-to-head to crown a school winner who will advance to the state level competition.
CMS 8th grader Tyler Arzate is our defending champion. However, the "trash talking" from several competitors has already begun! Should be an exciting competition! Good luck students!
